Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 June 2026

This policy explains how Epic Starz ("we", "us") handles information when you use our review-collection platform and when your customers leave reviews through our QR codes, NFC cards, and review links.

1 Overview

Epic Starz helps local businesses collect more 5-star Google reviews. We respect your privacy and the privacy of your customers, and we only collect the data we genuinely need to run the service. By using Epic Starz, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

2 Data we collect

From businesses (our customers)

  • Account details — business name, owner name, email address and phone/WhatsApp number.
  • Your Google Business / review page link so we can route reviews correctly.
  • Billing information — processed securely by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Branding assets you upload (logo, QR design, media) for your review page.

From your customers (reviewers)

  • Any feedback or rating they choose to submit through your review page.
  • Basic technical data (device type, approximate region) used only to make the page work and prevent abuse.

3 How we use your data

  • To provide the service — generating your QR/NFC review flow and routing reviews to Google.
  • To process payments and manage your subscription plan.
  • To provide support over email and WhatsApp.
  • To improve the product, measure performance, and keep the platform secure.

We never sell your data or your customers' data to anyone.

4 Reviews & your customers

When a customer scans your QR code or taps your NFC card, they are taken to your review page. Happy customers are guided to post a public review on Google. If a customer shares private feedback (for example, a lower rating), that feedback is forwarded to you privately so you can resolve it.

Customers are always free to post a public Google review if they wish — Epic Starz does not block, edit, or fabricate reviews. We simply make leaving genuine feedback easier.

5 Who we share data with

  • Google — when a customer chooses to post their review (handled by Google under their own policies).
  • Payment processors — to handle subscription payments securely.
  • Service providers — hosting and email delivery partners who help us run the platform.

We only share what is necessary, and these partners are bound to protect your data.

6 Cookies

We use a small number of cookies to keep you logged in, remember preferences, and understand how the platform is used. You can disable cookies in your browser, though some features may not work correctly.

7 Data security

We protect your data with encryption in transit (HTTPS), secured servers, and restricted access. While no system is 100% secure, we work hard to keep your information safe and notify you promptly of any serious incident.

8 Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel, we retain the minimum required for legal and accounting purposes, then delete the rest. You can request deletion at any time.

9 Your rights

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct or update inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your account and data.
  • Opt out of non-essential communications.

To exercise any of these, just contact us using the details below.
